Any particular reason that you don't get them wireless broadband cards and
get 100% of the orders over the internet? Or allow them to tether their cell
phones? Are they that far out that there isn't cell service?

On one hand, there is additional cost.

On the other .. the cost of your time trying to make 40 year old technology
work, and the cost of lost/missing/delayed orders likely make this an easy
cost/benefit analysis.

Sounds like a driver problem.

Have you checked with the vendor?
