Aha! I needed to change the owner to my specific user ID. I thought
that changing the owner to the administrators group that I belong to,
but that didn't seem to work. Changing the owner to me as a user
worked.

So I'm trying to bring up Visual Studio 2010 for the first time after
I installed (a couple of weeks ago). I get this error - "Cannot create

One of the issues stated was installing System i Access after
installing VS. This is probably the case with my stuff. But I can't
edit the machine.config file. I just want to open it in NotePad or
whatever, but I get a "You don't have the authority" dialog when I try
to open it. I've tried to take ownership of the file, and it appears
to me that I have, but I still can't open the file. Any ideas?
Thanks...
