So I have this new 64 bit Win 7 system. Want to install WDSc 7.0 on it. Put
in the CD and start it up. Installer seems to start to work, but then it
fails with an error message saying the H:\ drive is invalid. I *do* have an
H: drive, but I don't know why the installer wants to access it. I've been
searching around, but I can't find any reference to a different logged
drive. Any ideas? TIA!
I believe the installation manager always have a look at the cd-drive to see if you have anything on a cd/dvd regardless if you have started it from the harddisk or not.

Regardless, I've found that WDSc 7 had some small issues so I would suggest you either install it in XP Mode or upgrade to the latest version.
