I'm probably just going to cancel this AirCard broadband account ($70.00/mo)
and use my ancient Samsung telephone as a tethered broadband connection
($20.00 - $25.00 /mo extra for a data plan) - it works quite well (at 3G
speeds in town) often faster than my AirCard, resulting in a net savings of
around $50.00 / mo.

The Samsung telephone also works very well with my CradlePoint mobile router
( www.cradlepoint.com ). If you were driving next to me on I-35, you could
get a wireless connection while traveling down the highway.... ;-)
