IMO the keyboard re-registered as something other than US English. PC5250
remaps so it isn't impacted. Outlook Plain Text also doesn't care but HTML
would use language encoding.

Try Control Panel and find the keyboard language settings. In XP I think
it's Keyboard - Input Locales; in Vista it's Clock, Language, Region -
Change keyboards or other input methods - Keyboards and Languages tab -
Change Keyboards.

Does the keyboard work in anything besides green screen? Is it just
Outlook that fails, and then only in HTML? Maybe Outlook needs an
update, or Outlook has an HTML setting that is the culprit?

You won't even BELIEVE this... In a new Email composition windows I
changed it from HTML to Plain Text and I could type fine and everything
was cool. Switch it back to HTML and same problem. Is this just getting
weirder ?

They changed the batteries and took them out to double check, etc. And
not character set control but thanks !

They have a wireless keyboard and have replaced the batteries in that.

Pull the batteries so that the keyboard resets itself again?

Does the keyboard have a switch near the batteries that controls the
character set?
