Thanks Jerry I'll have them double check that. I know what you are
talking about with this. F lock and scroll lock can both do this. I had
them check but maybe they didn't hit both.

Chuck,

I've seen weird problems similar to this (but not exactly) when the user
accidentally (?) pressed one of the special function keys, especially
the "F Lock". It's awfully easy to do when the keyboard is flipped over
to change the batteries, or missing the "Esc" key by a hair and not
realizing it (been there, done that).
