Bryan,

You might try the advanced search. I haven't used it in a while but in the past you could enter words to omit. For example exclude sites with 'best price' in their search. It really helps cut down on the clutter. Not perfect though.

Subject: [PCTECH] Excluding shopping pages when searching the Web with Google

Is there a way to exclude shopping pages when using Google to search the web? For example, I often Google a string including the words "MC9090 scanner", which is a common barcode scanner here at ECHO; and the top pages are all shopping pages when I'm looking for troubleshooting, reference, tips and techniques, etc. types of pages.

Thanks in advance for any input.
