As a Lenovo BP, i've been through an R52, T60, T61 and now a W500.

All of them are solid notebooks, with good specs, a good keyboard,
easy maintenance, good warranty service, all the connectivity you
might need (UMTS, WiFi, Bluetooth).

The cheap SL line of Thinkpads is crap, and so are the 3000 series.
