I am considering changing to AT&T dsl.
Any experiences to share?
Is there a lot of nickel & diming?

Booth -

You didn't mention your current ISP. Who is it, and what download/upload
speeds do you currently have?

BTW, I am very disillusioned with AT&T right now.

My parents have spent the last six months trying to get AT&T DSL installed
at their house in rural Dallas county, and they got one runaraound after
another. Every time they called technical support, they were talking to a
technician in Bangalore who was reading a script. It was a nightmare, and
they couldn't get an actual AT&T installer to come to their /house/ to
troubleshoot the problems.

They were paying for it the whole time, without getting service. They
finally got a call from AT&T last week telling them that it should work now,
and my son got it set up and working.

They are now working on getting a refund for the months paid without DSL
service...
