No, not archiving. When I set up the "labels" for the different
midrange.com lists I subscribe to, I create a filter that applies the label
based on the "To:" content, and then, lemme check here, check the box to
"Skip the Inbox (Archive it)"... Huh? So, is that what you meant when you
said "Archiving them"?

BTW, absolutely gmail for mailing lists. The threading is near perfect. I
gave up using the company email for midrange.com lists a *long* time ago.
I'd been hit a few times for my supposed prolific participation, including
one time a vendor visited our site and my boss introduced him to me, and he
said "Dan Smith? The Dan Smith from midrange.com?" (substituting Smith for
my real name.) Longer story than necessary here, but that did not end well
for me.
