Can anyone recommend VOIP service, other than Vonage?

Don't get me wrong ... I really like the Vonage service ... but the news I keep hearing about the company has me somewhat distressed. I'd like to have a backup plan that I'm ready to put into place if/when Vonage goes belly up.

I've already heard about AT&T's CallVantage service ... which, according to a friend, isn't bad but they have some odd policies where you have to listen to a disclaimer about E911 service before making any calls ... this disclaimer is played ANYTIME your service is disconnected ... even if it's for just a fraction of second. The policy, apparently, came from AT&T legal ... because they don't know if you've moved the phone or not ... so they want to warn you about the limitations of E911 service. My friends service was somewhat spotty, so he ended up getting the disclaimer played to him every other day or so.
