Subject: [PCTECH] Hard Drive Question

Hi Folks,

Hope everyone had a good weekend !

My wives HP Notebook had a hard drive issue so I got a new one, replaced
the old one and reloaded the thing. The hard drive is a Fujitsu 40gb.
You can hear noise coming from it. It's like it's doing some sort of
constant seeking.

I had it set to turn the drive off after 20 minutes when on AC (like it
was on battery) and tried ended up changing it to 2 hours and it's still
doing this.

So does anyone have any idea what this thing might be doing ?

Thanks !

Chuck
