The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

FWIW:
I do my weekly backup (Ghost) to a QNAP 209 PRO with 2 x 1TB disks,
but mirrored to one TB. The box comes without disks :-)
Nice box with Giga Eth. and a nice 'db' which is acceptable.
The box has a lot of other features - which I dont use, but could be handy.
Their support site is very active. User requests for changes is over 'normal'
level with the support-group (read: they are listening to their users)

Drobo appears to be a firewire or USB device ... I'm looking for something that does Gigabit ethernet.
Even the DroboShare device only does SMB shares.
I need to be able to mount the device via NFS on my Linux machines.
