I purchased my wife a laptop. I have my work supplied laptop. I have my
work supplied desktop. Our connection to our ISP is an external wireless
tower (Ligtel). We currently have no wireless connection to our router. I
want to replace the router. Recommendations at work, based on coworkers
experience with wireless routers and the Ligtel setup, is to use the
Netgear WGR614.

I could get it $3 cheaper at BestBuy but I have a coupon at Dell (where I
purchased the laptop).

Both laptops have wireless. Desktop I plan on wiring into the back of the
Netgear. Very close proximity to where current hardware is.
House is old (by Midwestern American standards) farmhouse located with no
neighbor within a half a dozen bow shots. Two story with walk in attic
(that my wife wants to finish off into 3rd floor). Router will be on
first floor.

I will be using VPN into work.
