Not that I can recall.

TWICE today I've had this happen. I checking all the unlabeled CD's I have
laying around - you know the "I'll label that one in a minute" ones.


I have about a hundred of these... at least... no exaggeration.

I stick one in and it reads fine. Pop it our and try another one and WHAM
the system (XP Pro with 2G of RAM !) is locked up and it stays that way
for
10-15 minutes before I pull the plug.

How the HECK does MS allows a freakin' CD drive to suck up
memory/resources
to the point nothing works ? I've seen this on other PC's too. WHAT a
bunch
of crap.

OK done venting now :-) But I still don't understand how this can happen.
