I think you don't have write authority on the destination drive and/or 
folder.

This guess comes from my own experiences with (k)ubuntu.

[PCTECH] Knoppix Question






Hi folks,

 

I am try to copy a file from one drive to another under Knoppix and when I
try to do that by clicking on the file and dragging it and releasing it on
the other drive and select Copy I get a "Could not write to" error.
