Chuck,

I used Netscreen VPN client and I went through a short spell where I only
stayed connected if I had a persistent ping going in the background.
Mine was almost behaving just like yours..

Good luck

Hi Booth,

Do you know the version of the Cisco client you have ? The one I am using
is
"supposed" to be the most current one but they seem to come out at uneven
intervals.

Thanks and have a great Memorial Day Weekend !

Chuck

I went through this a while ago. There is a keep-alive flag in the vpn
file, but in the end, I had to have a more current version of the vpn
client.
