Dan,

I think this is done by the server.

IIRC, at a previous customer, we switched Notes clients to 6.x before the
servers were upgraded, and the folders were all the same, whether there
were new mails or not.

But after the upgrade of the servers to 6.x, the highlighting was there.

Subject
[PCTECH] Lotus Notes: How do I config to highlight folders thathave new
emails?

I'm new to a shop that uses Lotus Notes 6.5.

When new messages arrive, I get the innocuous little dialog boxes that
give
me the option to ignore ('OK') or to Open the Inbox.

But I'm used to the feature in Outlook and Thunderbird that shows that
there
are new messages in any folder; they do it by showing the number of new
emails. That would be nice for Notes, but I'd settle for the folder name
to
be highlighted or colorized.

Can it be done?

TIA,
Dan
