Hi Jeff,

Forgive my ignorance. Is the job scheduler on your W2K Server a standard W2K
service or is this a software package that you have added?

Thanks for the clarification.

Subject: [PCTECH] Jobs don't run at scheduled time (not Scheduled Tasks)

All,

Got a weird one. Starting yesterday, a particular PC server (W2K Server) is
not running regularly scheduled jobs. This includes the Backup Exec backups
and Symantec Corporate AV scans. Note that neither of these ever appears as
"Scheduled Tasks" yet normally would run.

The date/time and time zone are all correct. I have rebooted. I can
right-click on the Backup Exec job and select "Run now", and what actually
happens is a new job is created set to run at the current time, but it never
does.

Suggestions? Internal battery of some kind? Some launching service?

Thanks.
