Alt-F11 takes you to the VB Editor, IIRC. Or go to the Tools menu, open the Macro item and go to the editor.

There is lots of help in the editor, if it is installed - you might need to add a feature to Office. Or go to http://msdn.microsoft.com and look for the Office development area.

You can use what is called an input box (function is called just that - InputBox).

It won't work here, I think, but a nice way to get some code is to record a macro. You'll get the source in the VB editor and see what Excel really does.

I want to be able to click a button, have a pop up show up and ask for a
value. Then Add that value I entered to another cell and then replace that
value.

So let's say A1 has a value of 5. I want to add 3 to it. So now it is 8. I
have done no VBA. Where can I start looking for help for this? This is the
basics of what I want to do. I do want to do more than that, but I just need
a start.
