Leverich Sent: Tuesday, January 18, 2005 1:24 PM To: PC Technical Discussion for iSeries Users Subject: RE: [PCTECH] WOW - Microsoft's Spyware Scanner I know I should keep my mouth shut, but how do people get so much spyware? I ran the scanner (quick, not deep) on my machine and the _only_ thing if found was VNC, and I put that there. Now, I use IE (and firefox), I visit web sites, I read HTML e-mail w/outlook, I download and run programs even. Do I just not visit the right (er, wrong) sites? -Walden -- This is the PC Technical Discussion for iSeries Users (PcTech) mailing list To post a message email: PcTech@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/pctech or email: PcTech-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/pctech.
