What is your Netopia?

If it is strictly a dsl modem, then there is not a problem.  It plugs into
the Red interface of IP Cop (NIC 1 in the other discussion).  Then the Green
Interface (NIC 2) plugs into your Ethernet hub or switch.  Everything else
also plugs into that hub or switch.

Another thing to pay attention to is your wireless "hub".  Many of these are
both an Access Point AND a router.  To me, this complicates things when
there is a hard wired network and a wireless one.  I prefer using a pure
"Access Point" with no router function.  This operates pretty much like a
normal hub/switch.

And with the new version of IP Cop, you would add a 3rd (or even 4th if you
already have an Orange interface) ethernet card which would plug into the
wireless Access Point.

Why cant you get decent signal in your house?  I don't know.
