I didn't make it clear that what I had was the "nachi" or "welchia" worm.

I also forgot to mention that when I installed a new version of XP Pro (with service pack 1A) last week, within a few minutes of installation I got the "blaster" worm which kept shutting down my PC.

Why doesn't Rochester get OS/400 to run on Intel hardware?
