The event is on 16August, Tuesday at 1000 CDT (UTC -5).

Here's your invitation: http://ccst.io/e/IBMiOSS-16Aug2016

Focusing entirely on Open Source Software/Solutions on IBM i for Power Systems servers. This panel will explore some currently-, and potentially soon-to-be-, available sandbox systems on the cloud for your experimentation and testing.

The list of system contributors, and their contributions, is still being developed; and we expect that Aaron Bartell (USA), Andy Youens (England), Holger Scherer (Germany) will be available to answer your questions and discuss the possibilities. We also can discuss other options (IBM PDP and iDevCloud) - identified (with links) in this Ryver forum (https://ibmioss.ryver.com/index.html#forums/1000143).

We will again be experimenting with some new browser-based technology for this event: highly interactive and more engaging for all participants (both live and recorded sessions) - able to incorporate webcam video for anyone interested, embedded chat with public messages, structured questions with up-voting capability and “jump to answer” feature for instant access (after the event).

Please connect early (event is available now) to start interacting with Chat and Q&A. To ensure that you’ll have no issues (WebRTC requires latest browser support), here’s a link to test your connectivity: https://www.crowdcast.io/connect

PS: The same invitation link works to access the event recording in case you’re unable to participate at the scheduled time. Please sign up to show the panel that you’re interested in this topic!

Pass along this event's link to anyone around the world who you think might be interested in participating either in real-time or via the recording.
