Bingo. Love it. Pete, does COMMON have a GitHub account and could we start
a "news" repo that we can commit to?

Open source and community will have very limited success if it needs to
go
through a single person. Your call. I just don't see the approach
working.

Such a website will always be behind, but can be good for a digest sort of
thing. Perhaps it would be better to have something like a "weekly news"
blog. These are very popular in open source:
