I wouldn't go so far as to say ubiquitous. The iPhone is #2 with a 25%
market share of Smartphones & a smaller market share if you include all
phones. More important to IT people - and what should be more important to
ISVs like looksoftware - the iPhone isn't the dominant business Smartphone;
RIM still has that locked up:

Not a bad idea for an app, but unless they have at least a BlackBerry and
maybe a 'Droid version, they're missing a lot of the Smartphone target
audience. This is why I'm a proponent of web apps. Something like the
looksoftware conference agenda done in HTML5 with a local/offline database
would run on several platforms.
