I use to work for a city that uses HTE (SunGard Public Sector).  I know they
offer solutions for municipal governments and K-12.

The college I work for is in the market for a new accounting/payroll/HR package
and I would like to keep it on the iSeries (we currently run Lawson on the
iSeries). One of the reasons we are looking to replace Lawson is our need to be
able to produce reports that are different from the for-profit world. We are
required to produce FASB (non-profit) and GASB (government) accounting reports
and an EEO-6 report that is unique to Higher Education. Most manufacturing
software does not deal with these reporting needs. There are no iSeries
packages
specific to Higher Education but anything designed for any non-profit or
government organization should work for us. Can anyone point me in the
direction
of a iSeries accounting package designed for this type of organization? And it
will also have to have a GUI front-end or there is no possibility of it being
accepted.

Thanks
