Hmm, there are hundreds of ERP vendors in Switzerland, all with
different specializations, catering to a different niche of the
market. Yep, the sometimes buy each other and merge, but new ones crop
up all the time. Most of them have products that are neither reliable,
flexible, stabile or anything else - but they very much fulfill the
need of their particular market segment.

Yeah, there ARE the big players, but they're only for big companies
(which constitute the minor part of our gross national product).
