IMO the only thing saving this is the screen. Talking to a buddy of mine, there is no native PDF reader, and you don't just "email word documents and pictures" to it - you have to send them through a converter run by Amazon. $400 so I can read a limited number of books is a rather frivolous luxury, I think.
