Facebook for System i (in midrange-nontech forum)

I want to hear more of your comments about Facebook and its tools for us
on the System i

In terms of iSociety why try to reinvent the wheel when the platform is
already there and free to use. IBM may then be able to use the piles of
tools now being developed for facebook in conjunction with iSociety for
a better idea on the state of the market and what people are looking
for.

I also think we midrange guys, as a community, need to open up a little
more to what is going on outside of what many of us have known for
years. The Internet is now a platform and this platform is going to/is
being used to deliver software that may be compiled using functionality
from many different providers.
