RE: Going Rate for Website Development ?

If look at a state contract rates table you will get an idea in your area,
from my view. Especially if you want good work and something sustainable.
It is easily justified.
If your wanting basic stuff, its a different story. Everyone is a wizard
then.

I have never seen an organizational web site of any size that does not
require a deep skill set for a from start to finish customized solution.

Some of the largest companies I use as a customer have dysfunctional
websites.
It is a shame and we have a long way to go.
I have been using sprint PCS online for years (only when I really need to)
and it has always been slow (cheap overseas labor). It is not a technology
limit and never was.
Poor design and wrong hammer.
