At my previous employer we used OV mostly for generating form letters in
batch. We had a lot of them for sending letters about backordered
items, problems with orders, credit card issues, bad checks, etc. There
were a bunch!!!! Notes would have been overkill for this....

When I left we were looking at a 3rd party package (DM Text????).

:IBM announced today that BlueNotes will be supported on
:iSeries--a migrating tool for moving from OV/400 to Lotus Notes.
:
:From the sound of this announcement, it seems as though IBM
:might still have a fair number of folks still using
:OV/400...despite the fact that it's been some time since the
:discontinuance of the product. Do any of you still use OV/400?
:I'm curious of whether there are still a lot of users, and if
:so, why they choose to not switch to Notes or some other alternative...
:
:If anyone has comments, feel free to email me
:directly...thanks so much!
