That fixed it!  Thanks.

But it still doesn't answer all questions:

1) After installing NetBeui, that PC could only see 1 other PC, a WinME
with Netbeui installed.  No other PC on the network could be seen.  But
the other W98 PC _could_ see every PC in the network (except the one
with the original problem) even though this W98 PC did _not_ have
NetBeui installed.  Huh?

2) My W2K PC can see every PC with NetBeui installed even though it
_doesn't_ have NetBeui installed.

3) My guess is that once I have NetBeui installed on all PCs, everything
will be seen.

4) In the entire Windows Network Troubleshooter it never said anything
about NetBeui.
