As I understand it, this list is for topics that, while they may be
technical in nature, don't properly fall into the domain of the other
midrange.com lists.  Midrange-L has had a lot of general Microsoft bashing
in the past, some of it unrelated to the AS/400 at all.  That sort of
thing should now go on this list.

(Hmm.  Perhaps Microsoft basking isn't a good example of "technical"
discussion, but I think the idea is conveyed.)
