Boy, do I ever have mixed feelings on this.  I wonder how many others
are doing this.

Staples is running a promotion that gets you about $500 worth of
merchandise for the cost of buying XP plus the sales tax on that $500
and the cost of postage.  I will actually use, and have been planning or
was already shopping for, about $350 worth of that merchandise.  Final
cost: $135.

What really bugs me is that I am adding to the number of XP copies that
Microsh*t has sold and gets to brag about.  In its current state, I
wouldn't let XP within 10 feet of my PC.

Maybe I should set up a small bonfire and videotape the sacrifice of an
unopened XP package.  And post that video on a web site somewhere.  I
understand that CD-ROMs burn with brilliant colors.
