ALL AS/400's and iSeries boxes (pretty much any IBM product) state they
are manufactured from new and or remanufactured/reconditioned parts, and
regardless of which carry the full warranty.

Is there really such a thing as a refurbished AS/400? In the PC world,
refurbished means that the manufacturer traded a new unit for a defective
one,
repaired it, and is now selling it again. I've never heard of a defective
AS/400 traded for a new one.
