Dale,

<Thank you, for this new list, David.>

Excellent points. However, in regards to "Which answer is it please?" ...

All the Religious material that follows is both for anybody that wants to
read it, and in response to this post.

(from the original version of "Worlds... But not Hearts... apart (part 4 of
4)" written 9/16/01, but never posted:

Science has confirmed that light behaves as both a particle, and a wave.
This indicates, to me anyway, that paradox is one of the fundamental forces
of the Universe, if not the fundamental nature of the Universe.

One of the conclusions one could draw from this is that the events of "The
Day or Terror" cannot be fully comprehended. Not that it is merely
difficult to fully comprehend the events, but that IT IS IMPOSSIBLE.

The world has been thrown into confusion because of such an obvious
confrontation between such Absolute Evil and such Completely Innocent.

Not that any Americans, or any humans, are completely innocent... But that
the people that perished, and their survivors (which is all of us) did
nothing to deserve this particular fate.

Again, IMHO Dale, your points are valid. Don't mean to stifle debate, but
merely want to point out the difficulties involved.

My wife doesn't see (and I'm sure many people don't see) how the above
applies to your post, or to "The Day of Terror". We have the same confusion
as everybody else. (She, OTOH, found the bug I've been looking for, for the
past couple hours...:=)

But we find calm, and great comfort, in firmly believing that there is no
One Right Way (in a way) and that there are at least as many Right Ways as
there are people.

You're right, I was being polite. Your portrayal of NPR merely
showed lack of knowledge of the subject. And a knee jerk reaction to the
media in general, which being a media basher myself, I understand. But in
this case was off base.

SNIP, then goes on to belittle any such critiques, essentially
saying they are unjustified.

        Which answer is it please?

So, how should they have phrased this perfectly valid topic to suit
your ear? Of course, in this case, calling it by any other name would be
obscuring the issue with language. As something did go wrong, or to put it
in another way, it could have, should have, gone much, much better. And that
is a topic worthy of discussion.
