Python is one of the options in the 5733-OPS licensed product - you should be able just to get it if you can get that product on your system.

The things are the site you cite are fine, and they were there because there wasn't a supported installation yet.

I'm very surprised you don't see a lot with google - but I've also not looked.

There are a couple Python champions on these lists.

All true, but it is also possible he was talking about iSeriesPython,
which runs on everything from V5R3 on up. (I am aware of older
versions that have been used in production on V4R4 machines, but I
don't know how you would go about getting those older versions today.)
