After rereading your question, it appears I may have misunderstood the real issue. You want to get the STMF associated with the print file, right?

Why not try to delete it and monitor for a "not exist" condition?

Subject: Retrieve TOSTMF

I have written many one time programs where people ask to email them a pdf file and sometimes I use the same print file.
Example, printing barcodes to test hand helds.
If the file already exists in the ifs I get a halt saying File xxx in Library not opened with a reason code of 6.
6 -- Specified stream file already exists.
How can I find where the stream file exists?
I would like to delete it before I run so I don't get any halts.
I've tried CHGPRTF but that just says *SAME on the TOSTMF.
Also tried WRKOBJ and DSPOBJ and DSPOBJD

Any way to find this out?

Thanks in advance.

Craig
