The cipher in question I believe is ECDHE_RSA_AES_256_GCM_SHA384.

Subject: V7R1 is not supported anymore (at least for SSL ciphers)
Sent by: "MIDRANGE-L" <midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

I know this has been an issue lately, but I had another customer try to
use
our GETURI application and got an error saying that the ciphers needed
were
not installed.

They called IBM and were told that the cipher needed is only supported on
V7R2 and up.

Hogwash or lazy? I don't know. But I sure am not pleased with these
decisions to partially support on OS version.
