If you can spare the space, no need to be in a rush to delete them.

However, once you have 2 solid Option/22 backups (the new OS and all the other IBM stuff) you're pretty much finished with the install disks (unless, as someone said, you have some additional program products to load).

Once you have the Option/22 backup, that's your point of recovery-- the OS and all the applied PTFs are included in the Option/22.

Same schedule with the additional PTFs. I think you should be able to tuck everything into a single image catalog (space permitting). We've had good experience with the system sorting everything out. And chances are there are some duplicates in those three sets-- the system will only apply them once!

Hi all,

We are on day 3 of being on 7.1. Even loaded ACS and works great!

Any reason to keep the image catalog of the upgrade on the system for a bit longer?

I have a pile of PTF's on dvd's (didn't have the bandwidth to download) that I want to load into an image catalog.
There is a group of 8 (C3907632), a group of 2 (C3907630) and another group of 2 (C6120710).
I can load all of these into the same catalog, right?

Thanks!!!!
