Paul,

Do you already have one lpar at 7.2? This is what Jim is talking about.
He has one lpar fully up to IBM i 7.2 with all the latest PTF's updated
(on a weekly basis). Then, when he has to do a customer install, or
upgrade, he saves this and uses that as his install media.
You know how IBM issues "resaves" as in this website:
http://www-947.ibm.com/systems/support/i/planning/resave/index.html
Basically Jim is just creating his own resave.

If, however, you currently have no lpar at 7.2 and you are trying to
upgrade your first lpar to 7.2 this doesn't apply to you. Unless, you are
going to have Jim or someone else come down with their resave and do this
for you.

If you are trying to upgrade your first lpar to 7.2 then you can easily
add 5733OPS options on the "Work with licensed programs for target
release" screen by simply typing in the LPP and the option at the blank
line at the top.
