We use Word, or Adobe Acrobat, or you could use anything else to create the
output as you desire. Print to the Client Access Infoprint AFP printer
driver that comes with Client Access. I don't know if the newer Access
Client Solutions comes with these drivers. You can then import the output
printer file onto the i, with AFP Manager in the System i Navigator.
Again, I haven't tried the new and improved solutions version of the
Navigator, although my memory says that the new "solution" dropped AFP
Manager.

Subject: V7R3 Discontinued Software - AFP Utilities - Replacement
Product?
Sent by: "MIDRANGE-L" <midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

We use the AFP utilities for designing very simple AFP based overlays for
reporting and letter printing.
We are looking for a replacement product that will allow us to edit
(wysiwig) and modify existing overlays.

We looked at ISIS-Papyrus AFP designer and have a call scheduled with
Docpath Boulder suite.

Any body have any other tools that they are using or can recommend?

Thanks

Jim
