Re: Upgrade the HMC: is it possible remotely?

I believe he meant "remote view" and not "remove view" but I too have done
a few HMC upgrades from a different city.
We have all of our HMC's attached to a KVM. When not using the built in
remote HMC access that's part of HMC 7 and above I'll use the KVM. I find
the KVM really useful for starting the shared sessions on the HMC. It
also helps so you can monitor the "DOS looking" screen when doing an
upgrade.

For our KVM we use an Avocent Autoview 3016.
