We install DRV’s SpoolFlex at all our new clients. It is really easy to use, and even the end users can use it to convert spooled files to PDF and Excel and email without any programming.

We looked at a variety of solutions including CoolSpools, but liked the fact that DRV can convert to Excel in XLS and XLSX, not just CSV or TXT. Their Excel formatting capabilities were superior to any other products we looked at, even if the headings moved up and down. We even converted a client that had been using the RJS product because of the SpoolFlex formatting capabilities.

They have excellent US based support which we have taken advantage of when implementing new automated distributions, but can also call on DRV when we want help converting more complicated spooled files to Excel. Their support is great, and their pricing is reasonable. We tried their free evaluation software and had results in less than an hour. We’ve recommended them ever since.
