Rob,

Opened a PMR.
Have been told previously by IBM not to run RCLSTG unless instructed.
Yes, I remember the long running RCLSTG.

There's two items of concern here:
- Fixing the problem
- Trying to figure out what caused the problem to reduce the possibility of it recurring.

As far as fixing the problem you need to run either RCLSTG SELECT(*DBXREF) or RCLSTG SELECT(*ALL)

The first (*DBXREF) I don't recall seeing it take more than 20 minutes.
Across more than a dozen lpars.
The latter I've seen WIDELY vary depending on the individual lpar on the same machine. And reduce drastically if that lpar was unloaded/reloaded from a Power 6 to a Power 8. I've seen times vary from 11 hours to a few minutes.

As far as determining what caused it will require you open a ticket with IBM.

Subject: CPF32A6 - Cross-reference notification 1061 for request 2,
problem type 1.
Sent by: "MIDRANGE-L" <midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

On my R&D LPAR, I received this message the last three times I was
deleting library D1BRFILES.
From the message, I see a reference to object PYRRTV01.
The object was deleted fine with no issues seen in the joblog.

D1BRFILES/PYRRTV01 is a X-LIB LF.
I have other X-LIB LF, so I don't think that should be the reason.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this issue.
