Not sure it's been mentioned - user ID and passwords must match between IBM i and windows box for QNTC to work.

I DID verify with the admin there that they have both domain and local
accounts.
I tried both lowercase and uppercase alpha portion of the passwords on the
server.
Can PING the server from the AS/400.
What 'tells' the AS/400 here I am, I am a windows server, and I want to
share my shares with you!?
This box is old enough, I think I can still call it an AS/400.

I believe with Single Sign on you can do this. It's not officially
supported but there is as I recall a procedure IBM has published to
connect via QNTC with SSO. Since that IS working with the domain users
it should work.

That said I'm pretty certain that if your IBM i User and password match
your domain user and password you should still be able to map QNTC. We
have done that many times in shops with active directory.

Anybody have any ideas how to make it work with a domain user?

Thanks.
