Last November we installed a new Power8 server and are running V7.1. We have two 4 port NICs with only three ports on one NIC being used. When we did the install we didn't have a network switch that could be configured for automatic failover so we didn't configure the iSeries for aggregation. Now we do have an upgraded switch and can do the setup. We have never done this before. I found this document http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/ibmi/library/i-ethernetlines/ for configuring the NIC side. It does not talk at all about changes to the switch side. Has anyone done this kind of setup and come across any issues ?

Thanks

Mike Cunningham
