I just had to shut of my Power 8 (model 41A) for a storm passing through..
just in case.
Fired it back up and it reminded me how it sounds when it starts up. Like
a slow crescendo to a very loud harmonic howl of some very fast fans...
then after a few minutes quiets down, with a slow decrescendo to a whisper
(much quieter than my old 515).
Is that what these things should sound like when starting up? :) Probably
a stupid question, but I have to ask.
