Hi Justin
I did say in the past, but certainly some years ago in order to print to a
windows share I needed to install some additional stuff that allowed me to
print from a remote outq.
Things may have changed; I am not a Window admin.
Either way hopefully you found what you need.

Scott,
You are correct, it is a Windows Networking print share. It sounds like
there's not an reasonable way to change the existing print device to work.
I guess I'll have to try a remote outq. Remote outq's are our standard
print queue, and we only use a system device when there's a compelling
reason to do so. I have no record why this one is set up as a print
device. I guess I'll have to just try and see.

Evan,
Unless things have changed, to expose a printer for LPR, all you have to
do is share the printer and open the LPR port (515).
